CheckBeat 3.1 Click to enlargeDescription:CheckBeat is a virtual drum machine designed for quickly creating simple beats. It can be used like a fancy metronome and is handy when you need to create a backing beat for a drummer-less jam session. Programming a beat is as simple as clicking a few checkboxes. It plays sound using .wav files, so you can use the built-in drum sounds, or any sound you can dream of. You can set the note length (check resolution) of the checkboxes and can set the tempo pretty much any number of beats per minute. You can also use less than the full 16 checkboxes in the pattern if you want to create a beat in a different time signature like 5/4 or 9/8. CheckBeat was written using SDL2_mixer and no additional sound libraries are needed.
