Project Planner-PE 4.5, lets you track and manage your projects in the way you had always wanted. It offers you several views ( Gantt, Network, Resource, Estimation, Risk, Plan..) to get the broad understanding of where your project is heading. Several improvements have been done to Project Planner 4.0 based on customer feedback.

List of new features in Project Planner 4.5 :

1. Done away with the server for the personal edition. No more server icon in your task tray.
2 .Print all the views in the project planner ( as opposed to only the Gantt chart)
3. Allow modification of plans in Gantt view ( as opposed to viewing only)
4. Improved Export and Import options for PPR and XML files.
5. Choice of date formats for task start and end dates.
6. Improved connectivity between Smartworks family of products
7. Improved PERT analysis view
8. Improved Project Estimates view
9. Support for reading MS-Project (.MPP files).
10. Save Gantt chart as a HTML page
11. Support for a New risk report view
