Support of different InterBase and Firebird versions in the same application! * An ability to set a path to the client library for each TpFIBDatabase component (gds32.dll, fbclient.dll, fbembed.dll). * Full control of local sorting. Using a corresponding handler it’s possible to control sorting order on calling DoSort and DoSortEx methods. So now one can also sort by national character sets. * Improved SQL Generator. FIBPlus 5.2 has a better SQL Generator, which works now with TpFIBQuery too. * Improved application performance at low-speed channels. Optimized metadata cache mechanism and DataSet Repository caching, which enables to reduce a number of system queries to the remote database.
