This is what you'll sometimes hear called a "dual boot system". Imagine being able to boot to Windows or to Linux depending on what you wanted to do. The functionality of Acronis Disk Director Suite allows you to create a dual boot system to significantly facilitate computing. Another module of the suite is the Recovery Expert which you can use should you accidentally delete a partition. Not long ago I had an entire partition just suddenly disappear and I used this program to get it back in a snap.Acronis Disk Director Suite has an intuitive user interface and is very easy-to-use. I really like the feature to merge two partitions into one partition. Why? Well because it lets you leave all your data in place, which is such a time-saver. So, for example, say you had a drive D and a drive E. You could "merge" everything from drive E into an expanded drive D. Or, you can do the opposite and take one, large drive and split it into two drives. Nicely done!
